*10 bed, voluntary, adult crisis unit serving Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties for individuals experiencing psychiatric symptoms
*Referrals accepted from local hospitals, mental health providers, Mobile Crisis teams, and local law enforcement

Open and accepts admissions 24/7

Intake Process:

Eligibility:

Inclusion Criteria:
*In psychiatric crisis - suicidal, homicidal, psychotic, manic, depressed, etc.
*Agrees to voluntary admission and is clinically appropriate for admission
*Medically Stable (able to take care of medical needs without assistance)
*Can perform activities of daily of living (ADLs), i.e. walking, eating, dressing, bathing, etc.
*Can be dually diagnosed with Mental Illness/Chemical Use
*18 years or older

Exclusion Criteria:
*Meets criteria for involuntary treatment
*Medically unstable (IV, oxygen, etc.)
*Only in need of housing
*Cannot independently perform ADLs
*In need of medical detox
*Recent violence
*Under 18 years old
